【摘要】:ThisTechnicalReportlistscollectivetermsandcodesforgroupsofmedicaldeviceshavingcommonfeatures.Thelistingisstructuredsothatthetermscanbeusedforthepurposesrequiredinregulatoryreportingandforcommunicationrelevanttotheapplicationofthemedicaldeviceregulation.ForcertainpurposesintheapplicationoftheMedicalDevicesDirectives,thereisanurgentneedforthedevelopmentofalistofcollectivetermsbasedontheidentifiedprinciplestobeused,forexamples,asfollows:?toillustratethescopeofcertificatesissuedbyNotifiedBodieswhenassessingwhichgroups,familiesortypesofmedicaldevicesarecoveredwithinamanufacturer’squalitysystem,?tobeusedtoidentifytherangeofskillsandgeneraltechnologicalabilitiesforwhichaNotifiedBodyhasbeenapproved,andissoappointedbytherelevantCompetentAuthority,?fortheexchangesofinformationbetweenCompetentAuthoritieswhengeneralinformationonindividualmanufacturerscapabilitiesisnotifiedforinclusionintheEuropeanDatabaseforMedicalDevices(EUDAMED).Forthepurposeofdevelopingsetsofcollectiveterms,Accessoriestomedicaldevicesareintegrateddefactointhecorrespondingmedicaldevicecollectiveterm.
