【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationprovidesfortheidentificationofrecycledpost-consumerHDPEmoldingandextrusionmaterials,fromspecifiedsources,inpelletorchipformsothatthesupplierandtheusercanagreeontheacceptabilityoflotsorshipments.Thisspecificationcoverspost-consumerHDPEmaterialsfromthefollowing:(1)blowmoldedhouseholdchemicalcontainers,(2)blowmoldedmilk,juice,andwatercontainers,(3)materialsfromthespunbondedprocess,(4)thermoformedpackagedfoodcontainersandpersonalcarepackages,(5)injectionmoldedpackagedfoodcontainersandbeveragebottlebasecups,and(6)injectionmoldedhousewaresandindustrialarticlessuchaspails,crates,totes,andpallets.Otherpost-consumerHDPEmaterialsmaybeaddedtothisspecificationwhensuchmaterialstreamsarecharacterized.1.1.1Thetestsdescribedinthisspecificationareintendedtoprovideinformationforidentifyingthesematerials.Theseparationbysourcesimprovestheusefulnessofthematerials.1.1.2Itisnotthefunctionofthisspecificationtoprovidespecificdatafordesignpurposes.1.2Thisspecificationprovidesaproceduretocertifythatthematerialsarefrompost-consumersources.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Theinch-poundunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thefollowingprecautionarycaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Section10,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Note1TherearenoISOstandardscoveringtheprimarysubjectmatterofthisspecification.
