【摘要】:Thistestmethodwasdevelopedforthedeterminationofbrominechlorideinliquidchlorine.Bromideisacommoncontaminantinallsaltsourcesthatareusedintheproductionofchlorine.Thisbromidecontentofthesaltisconvertedintobrominechlorideintheliquidchlorineproduct.Thistestmethodissensitiveenoughtomeasurethelevelsofbrominechlorideobservedinnormalproductionchlorine.1.1Thistestmethoduseshighperformanceliquidchromatography(HPLC)todeterminebrominechloridelevelsinliquidchlorineatthe10to1400g/g(ppm)range.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Reviewthecurrentmaterialsafetydatasheet(MSDS)fordetailedinformationconcerningtoxicity,firstaidprocedures,andsafetyprecautions.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecifichazardstatementsaregiveninSection8.
