【摘要】:Ithasbeenindustrypracticetoclaimthecapacityofaskimmerbasedontherateofthedischargepump(whicharetypicallyratedusingwaterasatestfluid)orotherarbitrarymethods.Endusersneedatestmethodologythatevaluatesoptimumperformancedataforplanningandselectionofequipment.Thistestmethodwillassistproducersandotherstakeholderstoverifyandaccuratelyreportskimmersystemperformance.Thistestmethodisspecificallydesignedtoquantifytwokeyskimmerperformancevalues,toreducetestingcosts,andtoencourageindustrywideperformancestandardization.Thistestmethodestablishestestconditionsthatwillresultinameasurednameplaterecoveryrateandanindicationofthecombinationoftestparameters(oiltype,viscosity,operatingspeed)thatresultinthehighestaverageperformanceforthetestedskimmersystem.Thistestmethodwillvalidatetheperformanceofthedischargepumpintheskimmersystem,underconditionsthataretypicalofarecoveryoperation.Specifically,thiswillincludeamodestimposedheadpressurecomposedofstaticheadanddynamicfrictionlossesduetoaspecifiedlengthofdischargehose.Thistestmethodencouragesperformancetestingusingtwoormoreoilsforcomparisonpurposes.Testsshallbeconductedunderwell-documentedconditionsandgeneraterepeatableresults.Moredetailedtestingandcollectionofskimmerperformanceiscoveredunderexistingstandards(forexample,GuideF631).Testing(SLRoss2007)hasshownthat,whenwaterispresent,recoveryperformanceinslickthicknessesrangingfrom50mmto75mmresultsinvaluescomparabletosignificantlythickerslicks.Thismaynotbethecasewithhigh-rateskimmersinviscousoil,wheretherateofoilrecoveryexceedstherateatwhichtheslickwillflowtotheskimmermechanism.Forskimmingsystemsthatincludevariousoptionsforthedischargepump,thetestdescribedinthistestmethodmaybeusedtomeasuretheperformanceoftheskimmingcomponentofthesystem.Performanceofthepumpingcomponentcanbemeasuredindependentlyusingthesameviscosityofoilandthedischargeheadconditionsnotedinthistestmethod.Thenameplaterecoveryrateofanyspecifiedskimmingcomponentandpumpcombinationwouldbethelesseroftheskimmingcomponentandthepump.1.1Thistestmethoddefinesamethodandmeasurementcriteriatoquantifythenameplaterecoveryrate(capacity)ofastationaryskimmersysteminidealconditions.Ifadeterminationofaskimmerx2019;scapabilitiesinrealisticconditions(thatis,advancingorwaves)isrequired,testingshouldbeperformedaccordingtoGuideF631orequivalent.1.2Thistestmethodincludestheoptionoftestingtodeterminerecoveryefficiency.1.3Thistestmethodandparametersareintendedtoprovideidealrecoveryconditionsallowingtheskimmersystemtooperateandcollectoilatitsmaximumpossiblerecoveryrate.Givenidealconditions,inherentmechanicalandphysicalattributesofthesystembecomethelimitingfactors.1.4Thistestmethodisintendedtoidentifylimitationsoftheskimmersystem,suchasperformanceoftheskimmingmechanism,theflowofoilwithintheskimmerandsump,thepumpcharacteristics,andtypicaldischargeheadconditions.1.5Itisacceptedthatthenameplaterecoveryrateasdeterminedbythistestmethodwillnotlikelybeachievableunderactualconditionsofaspill.Thenameplaterecoveryrateshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithade-ratingfactortoaccountforsuchissuesaschangingencounterrate,changesinotherrecoveryconditions,changesinoilpropertiesandslickthickness,numberofdaylighthours,operatordowntime,lessthanidea......
